Hiragana Mind Map

After struggling to learn all 48+ Japanese Hiragana characters, I took the Hiragana Chart that was given to me to memorize and I made a flow chart out of it. If any of you are trying to learn Japanese and your brain works like mine, this might help a bit. I kept getting the similar character's confused.

When I first starting out, I would think, "Which one has a double cross and a flippy at the bottom?" The standard chart simply doesn't allow you to search for the characters like that. This chart 'mind map' of sorts does. It's Ma.

Does this help at all? Would you like one for Katakana too? Let me know in a comment below.
Also, check out my upcoming book on KICKSTARTER, The Hitchhiker's Guide to: Earth.
